David Jackson, OIX UK Programme Manager, will be leaving May 24 to become Group Finance Director of a $300 million materials technology business with operations in 40 countries. David will be leaving behind a diverse range of accomplishments in the UK where OIX has been collaborating with member organizations, the UK Cabinet Office, and identity providers selected for the IDAP framework.

David built (and deliberately overbuilt) the OIX UK Office ensuring a strong operational foundation for rapid growth, market-leading experimentation, and public-private collaboration. Since the start of 2013, David’s work has included: helping to establish a legal entity (OIX UK Ltd.), opening a bank account, accountant and auditor for the OIX in UK, standardizing contracts and a stage-gate process for collaborators, scoping Alpha projects, convening the Identity Steering Group (IDSG), and developing and hosting monthly innovation meetings for stakeholders. David also played a key role in establishing an important trust framework working group with the GSMA  involving all major UK mobile operators, banks, identity firms and relying parties.

David will be succeeded by Sue Dawes, a former UK leader of The Women in Business Network and facilitator of the PRIME Alliance, a non-profit network for the international smart grid industry. Sue, who previously worked in high technology 3D graphics and audioconferencing businesses, is based in London.

We welcome Sue to the role and wish David every success for the future.
